Frederikke’s first dog was named Ludvig, and his name ended up inspiring the name of my company. She had been asked what the company was called before she had even given it much thought, and in a moment of panic, she simply looked at her dog and said Ludvig. It only felt natural, then, that these earrings should be named after my second dog, Cuba. Their colours and style remind us both of her and of our beautiful trip to Cuba, the colorus of the island and the way the earrings move when like dancing.
